Misa High Society Collection Nail Polish Pictures & Swatches

Hi friends. Today I have Misa's winter collection, "High Society" to show you! This collection is full of super gorgeous, deep colored polishes!

First is Uptown Glamour, which is a deep, multifaceted eggplant shimmer. So pretty and rich, this color bears a resemblance to OPI's Every Month Is Oktoberfest.  The formula was superb:

Then we have It Girl, a deep maroon creme polish. Vampy and sophisticated all rolled into one, this polish applied beautifully with just 2 layers:

Next is the greyish purple beauty, Well Heeled Grey. Very reminiscent of Chanel Paradoxal, but with a fantastic formula and the ease of simply being able to go to Misa's website and order it whenever you please: (2 layers)

Then there's Trust Fund, a deep dark sage creme.  I cannot stress how much I love this dark neutral- it's so pretty and rich (pun intended).  (2 layers):

Then we have Bourbon On The Rocks, a whiskey color that is so glowing, it a reminds me of smoldering ashes. Deep and bright at the same time! (2 layers)

Lastly, there is the perfect medium-brown creme polish, Tailored Taupe.  Fantastic formula on this one as well, this colored brings to mind chocolate syrup. Delicious! (2 layers):

After getting the chance to try Misa (check out my recent review of their Wander Lust collection here), I can tell you that I am an instant fan. I love everything from the colors and the formulas, right down to the brushes and bottles!  Misa polishes can be found on their website, http://www.misacosmetics.com/.

Zoya Ornate Collection: Logan Nail Polish (Pictures) and Some Easy Holiday Nail Art

Here's another from the Zoya "Ornate" Holiday collection!  "Logan" is a forest green with fleck/metallic shimmer.  Gorgeous and very festive!

2 layers:

I then I decided to wrap it up with some ribbon (nail art striping tape). It is best to wait until your polish is COMPLETELY dry to add the tape, that way you have the ability to move it and place it the way you would like before sealing it in with topcoat:

I'm not usually a huge green fan, but there is something about this one that makes me swoon.  You can see Blaze here and Ziv here (also from the Ornate Collection).

Zoya polishes can be purchased on their website, and if you use my referral link here to create an account, you will receive a coupon in your account for a free bottle of polish (even better, add 2 more bottles and get free shipping on that order!).

Which 'Ornate' colors excite you the most?!

***Disclosure: This post contains a referral link: I receive Zoya's 'Share The Love' Points for each friend that I refer***

China Glaze Cirque Du Soleil "Worlds Away" Collection: My Picks

There are only a few times during the year when the anticipation of a collection's release really sends me over the edge with obsession. The latest to do so is China Glaze's Cirque Du Soleil inspired collection, "Worlds Away".  I was able to pick up some (half the collection) recently and I COULD NOT WAIT to get them on my nails!

First up, "Running In Circles" (bright emerald green with a glass fleck finish- 3 layers):

Next, "Water You Waiting For" (blue glitter mix-3 layers):

Next, "Get Carried Away"  (sheer black jelly base with black hex and stick glitters as well as silver and  coppery-rose colored hexes- 4 layers).  This was a little thick and would probably be best used as one single coat over an opaque creme base color:

Then, we have "It's A Trap-eze!" (creamy white base with multicolored rainbow glitter- 2 layers of deliciousness):

Here is one of my absolute favorites from this set- "Surreal Appeal" (almost neon coral creme- 2 layers) The formula was almost a one coater- great coverage:

And lastly, there's "Whirled Away" (clear base with big matte white hex glitters, medium black hexes, as well as black stick glitter) on top of "Surreal Appeal"...a match made in heaven:

This combination is my absolute favorite!!!

As you can see there are quite a few standout polishes (glitters imparticular) that comprise this set.  Beautiful, different, and definitely not what we have come to expect from a "main stream" companies. Do you know what this means? They are paying attention to the demand for new finishes as well as unique glitter combinations, which is excellent news!!

Are you going to be picking up any from the 'Worlds Away' collection?? They should be available everywhere in December!
